The Witch’s Memory part forty one

Princess Ree had come to a marrying age
At least that was the advice from his advisors so sage
King Roland would no longer hold back
His daughter with the hair so black
That it shone like midnight upon the sea
He would have to set his daughter free
But which suitor would be worthy of her hand
When she was of such high demand
Roland held open the doors of his kingdom
And princes came offering a hefty sum
To be near the princess whose beauty was untold
Knowing from legend she was something to behold
Whatever the price it was well worth admission
As her startling green eyes lulled them into submission
The princess proved a prize to be won
And the caravan of princes continued until it was done
This left Roland in an awkward place
In a position he didn’t wish to face
